Description: Digital repository at the Charles University of Prague (below CU) is run on a system called DigiTool, developed by Ex Libris company. This system enables to create, manage, preserve and share locally administered digital collections. At the project of the Digital repository actively participate 11 CU faculties and units; qualified employees import materials (mostly ETDs) via the Meditor (DigiTool's client application). Each digital object has not only descriptive metadata, but also technical, administrative and access rights ones. Authentication is run against LDAP.
