Dear Applicants,

We are pleased to invite you to the enrolment for the first year of doctoral studies at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, which will take place on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Large Meeting Room (First Faculty of Medicine, Na Bojišti 3, Prague 2).

Programme

1. Presentation of information on doctoral studies
2. Enrolment of individual applicants upon submission of the required documents

Notice: The introductory presentation will be held in Czech. Students admitted to English-language doctoral programmes will be enrolled individually in the Study Officers' Office (First Faculty of Medicine, Kateřinská 32, Prague 2, room 2.053).

Documents to Be Submitted at Enrolment

Students must present:

• a printed and signed Student’s Enrolment Form generated from the Student Information System (SIS) (instructions are provided below)
• printed and signed documents: Appendix to Student’s Enrolment Form and Matriculation Oath (both available for download on the faculty website: For PhD Students - First Faculty of Medicine)
• an identity card (international students: passport and, where applicable, residence permit)
• if not submitted previously: a copy of the Master's degree diploma:
• graduates of Charles University: a regular (non-certified) copy of the diploma,
• graduates of another Czech university: a certified copy of the diploma,
• graduates of a Slovak university: a certified copy of the diploma and the diploma supplement

If you are unable to attend the regular enrolment date, please inform us by e-mail.

If you have not yet completed your Master's studies, you may enrol on the alternative date of 30 September 2026, or later if necessary. Proof of graduation must be submitted no later than 22 October 2026.

How to Generate the Enrolment Form

Log in to your application, select My Applications: Admission Procedure / Progress / Admission procedure, and scroll down to the section Date of enrollment for study. The enrolment form can be generated there: Display registration sheet.

If the link for generating the enrolment form does not appear immediately, this means that some required information is missing from your application. Once you complete and save the missing information, the Generate Enrolment Form option will become available.

Confirmation of Studies

You may also download a Confirmation of Studies, complete it, print the required number of copies, and bring them with you to enrolment.

Student ID Card

Your Charles University student ID card can be collected from the Charles University Information and Advisory Centre (UK Point). Detailed information on the issuance of student ID cards is available here: https://cuni.cz/UK-5360.html
