Thus, graduates can get experiences in the medical field that they intend to pursue in the future. The internships for graduates are offered by the Charles University in cooperation with the Educa consortium.
You can carry out your traineeship not only at our partner faculties, but also at any other professional institutions (i.e. research institute, hospital). Students need to arrange their mobility and communicate with the hosting institution themselves.
The application for the graduate traineeship must be filled out by student and sent toanna.jezberova@lf1.cuni.czwho will arrange an interview with the Erasmus faculty coordinator. After the interview the application is signed at the faculty and rectorate level and sent to Educa.
IMPORTANT! Application must be submitted to the Educa consortium before the student's graduation date! Other documents (Learning Agreement, Decision, etc.) can be processed after the state final exams if necessary.

The maximum length of the traineeship is 12 months in the case of bachelor's studies and 24 months in the case of master's programs. The minimum length is two months, i.e. 60 days continuously. Please, note that the traineeship for graduates is included in this total length of all your Erasmus exchanges.

Erasmus partner universities

Below you can browse through a list of partner universities within Erasmus programme.

Study stays can be realized only at partner universities.

Traineeships can be undertaken either at partner universities or at institutions with which we do not have a bilateral agreement, i.e., at any institution within the European Union, with the exception of institutions directly funded by EU sources (e.g., the European Parliament). A practical internship is defined as assistance/work for a foreign university or other institution (company, organization, self-employed person, etc.) related to the field of study at First Faculty of Medicine.

The tables provide an overview of the countries and universities with which the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University cooperates. For each institution, there is a link to the website of the university for incoming Erasmus+ students.

 **Green Erasmus – important information

If you choose an environmentally friendly mode of transport to and from Erasmus+ destinations, you are eligible for a higher travel allowance.

The Green Erasmus grant is valid only in cases where the environmentally friendly mode of transport is chosen in both directions – when traveling to an Erasmus+ destination and back to the Czech Republic.

The following are classed as eco-friendly modes of transport: train, bus, bicycle or carpooling in a shared car.
NOTE: If someone drives you abroad and then returns on their own, this is not deemed carpooling. Only cases where everyone is travelling in the car in order to remain in the destination, e.g. when you arrange a trip with several students who are going to the same university as you, are eligible.

The European Commission strongly recommends that a sustainable mode of transport be chosen for destinations that are 500 km or less away.
