Graduation ceremonies are held three times per year:

  1. November
  2. April
  3. July

2. Selection of Speakers

The graduation speaker is selected by the Year Representative of the respective study programme.

3. Number of Speeches

For each graduation ceremony slot:

  1. There must be at least one student speech, regardless of the study programme.
  2. A maximum of two student speeches per graduation ceremony may be delivered:
    • one speech on behalf of General Medicine graduates,
    • one speech on behalf of Dentistry graduates.

4. Graduates with a Deferred Graduation Date

For graduates attending graduation ceremonies with a deferred graduation date (November and April ceremonies):

  1. If the Year Representative has already graduated and is therefore unable to select the speaker, the graduates of the respective programme shall agree among themselves on a speaker.
  2. The selected speaker's name must be communicated to the Study Department Officer.

5. Failure to Reach Agreement

If the graduates are unable to agree on a speaker:

  1. Interested graduates must notify the Study Department no later than one month before the graduation ceremony.
