CALL FOR ABSTRACTS FOR THE 25TH STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE OF THE FIRST FACULTY OF MEDICINE, CHARLES UNIVERSITY AND XII. STUDENT CONFERENCE NUTRITION, FOOD AND HEALTH OF THE CZECH SOCIETY FOR NUTRITION

The event is entended for students of graduate programs (Doctoral (PhD.), Master (M.D., MSc.), and Bachelor (BSc.)). On this website, you may find an online registration and abstract submission for the 25th Student Scientific Conference (SVK) of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and XII. Student Conference "Nutrition, Food and Health" of The Czech Society for Nutrition.

Deadline for abstract submission for the Student Research Conference was extended till Sunday, March 17, 2024 (11:59 pm).

Deadline for abstract submission for the Student Conference Nutrition, Food and Health of the Czech Society for Nutrition was extended till April 12 (11:59 p.m.) using the online application form - https://bit.ly/svk-reg-24.

Student Scientific Conference (SVK) and Student Conference "Nutrition, Food and Health" of The Czech Society for Nutrition will be held at the Institute of Physiology, Albertov 5, Praha 5, on May 7th, 2024 starting at 8:30 am. 

The electronic application includes: 

(1) Contact information about the student and his/her mentor; 

(2) Abstract.

Abstracts can be submitted either in Czech or English language. Abstract lenght is limited to 1500 characters including spaces (excluding the title, authors and affiliations). After submitting the full application author and author´s mentor will receive a confirmation of the submission by e-mail. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Committee of the First Faculty of Medicine faculty members or by experts from the Society for Nutrition. Based on the evaluation of the expert committees and the preference of the presenting author (in case of participation in SVK), the best-rated abstracts in the postgraduate and undergraduate categories will be accepted for a lecture or a poster presentation.

Candidates will receive the decision about the type of their presentation by the middle of April 2024. The final program and the Abstract book will be available 10 days prior to the conference.
All abstracts accepted by the committee will be included in the Abstract book (online pdf).

Authors are responsible for grammar and content of the abstract. The abstract is published without language corrections.

Poster 1^st place: 5,000 CZK

Poster 2^nd place: 5,000 CZK

Postgraduate section:

Lecture 1^st place: 10,000 CZK

Lecture 2^nd place: 10,000 CZK

Poster 1^st place: 5,000 CZK

Poster 2^nd place: 5,000 CZK

Special prize for bachelor´s programme: 5,000 CZK
