Buddy Program at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University

The Buddy Program connects students of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University with newly arrived foreign students participating in the Erasmus+ program and other international exchanges. The aim is to make the first weeks in Prague easier for foreign students, help them find their way around the faculty and the city, and at the same time offer our students the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contacts from around the world.

Why get involved?

• You will make friends with students from different countries.
• You will earn points towards the selection process for your own Erasmus mobility.
• You can participate free of charge in faculty-supported events and trips throughout the Czech Republic.

What does Buddy´s role entail:

• Assistance with arranging transportation from the airport or train station to accommodation.
• Support in handling basic administrative matters.
• Introduction to the faculty, study facilities, and student life.
• Accompanying students to social events and trips organized by the Erasmus Students’ Office (ESO) under SMČ.

How to sign up:

1. Register via Boaddy platform.

2. After approval, select an international student according to your preferences.
