Dimitris N. Chorafas Prize is awarded by the Dimitris N. Chorafas Foundation in cooperation with the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. It is intended for the best graduate PhD students in the fields of engineering sciences, natural sciences and medicine in a given year.

The award-winning PhD student receives a $10,000 prize. For the entire Charles University, one candidate is nominated by the rector.

Candidates must receive their PhD degree between 31 May 2025 and 31 December 2026.
Age limitation: At the time of nomination, candidates must not be older than 32 (born after 31 May 1994).
