All students of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, are invited to join us for an evening full of dancing and great vibes.

Spring event in Stromovka: Jednička Swings on May 22, 2025.

We invite all students of the faculty to a pleasant evening of live music and dance!

The programme includes musical and dance blocks, alternating dance demonstrations, short mini-lessons, and dance.

You can look forward to:

 

  • Swing classics with Mackie Messer
  • Electroswing: swing concert by COBRA PARTY SWING BAND, mini-lesson of swing dance CHARLESTON SHOW
  • Latino: Salsa, bachata, and merengue with multiple Czech champion Jan Dvořák and the Bohemian Salseros
  • Swing concert: party mini-lesson ZIG ZAG PARTY, burlesque show with MAYA, and Electro Swing Party & VLK (saxophone jam).
  • The evening will conclude with disco skaters Funky Rollin and a party with ELECTRO SWING RIVER DJS.

Do not forget to bring comfortable dance shoes, a good mood, and you may even wear something in swing style – let's make it stylish! We look forward to seeing you!

If you get thirsty or hungry, the Kolkovna restaurant has a rich offer of food and drinks. If you get tired of dancing, you can relax under the trees. 

Reservation of student tickets:

Reservations are open from April 22, 2025, to May 14, 2025. Each person can reserve a maximum of two tickets. Reserved tickets can be picked up on weekdays from April 28 to May 14, always from 12:00 to 17:00 at the premises of the Student Medical Association in Faust House. Tickets can be collected upon presentation of an ISIC card. Entry to the event is free of charge.
