Call for applications for exchange student stays in the academic year 2026/2027 (inter-university agreements)

 International Relations Office of the CU Rectorate announces a call for applications for exchange study stays in the academic year 2026/2027 within the framework of inter-university agreements.

The partner universities of the 1st Faculty of Medicine are:

- Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Vietnam National University

Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents (in English, if not specified otherwise) via the online application:

· CV (including updated contact details: e-mail, phone number)

· Letter of purpose

· Study plan (use the form)

· Transcript of records of all post-secondary study

· Certificate/confirmation of English language proficiency

· Consent to personal data processing (document to download)

· Invitation letter by a receiving faculty member (applies to Ph.D. applicants for a research stay only); Please note that in some cases students apply for a research stay on their own, outside of the selection process. Information can be found on the website or by asking the relevant CU Rectorate coordinator.

Students can apply for a study stay in either the winter or the summer term only or in the whole academic year. Students have the possibility to select one university as an alternative to the university of their first choice.

The online webapps application will be open for students from October 1st until October 31st 2025 including.

Please keep in mind the application must be submitted by the deadline. It is not sufficient to only create an application, complete it, and upload the documents. Applications that have not been submitted (i.e. those with the status 'Created') will not be displayed to faculty or university coordinators.

The final selection of candidates by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Charles University will take place in December 2025.

Students can find the conditions for admission and study at a foreign university on the website of the relevant university. Students will be asked to submit documents that are not required for the selection process but are required by the partner university only after they have been successful in the selection process. These include, for example, recommendation letter(s), valid language certificate, etc. Students are kindly requested to obtain these documents well in time, within the deadlines of partner universities.
