English-language instruction of foreign students has, among other things, implications for exchange programmes. In recent years, the number of students who are coming to the 1st Faculty of Medicine within the Erasmus or IFMSA programmes is on the increase. Thanks to the fact that some courses are offered in English, these international students can do part of their medical studies at our faculty. This boosts awareness of the 1st Faculty of Medicine in the world and helps students of the Czech programmes who wish to do part of their medical studies at some foreign university as part of international exchange programmes.
