Invitation to enroll in the 1st year of Ph.D. studies at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University

Dear applicants,

We cordially invite you to enroll in the first year of doctoral studies at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University:

• Regular enrolment date:
  24 September 2025 from 9:00 AM
  – in the Large Meeting Room of the Dean’s Office, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Na Bojišti 3, Prague 2
• Alternative enrolment date:
  30 September 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
  – in the office of the study coordinators, Department for Science, Dean’s Office, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University,
  Room No. 2053, entrance from Kateřinská 32, Prague 2

Required documents for enrolment are attached below:

• A printed registration sheet generated from the SIS (instructions below)
• Printed documents: Attachment to the enrolment form and Matriculation oath – both available for download on the faculty website: https://www.lf1.cuni.cz/formulare-pro-doktorandy
• ID card or passport, ev. residence permit
• If not yet submitted: a copy of your Master’s diploma.
• Graduates of Charles University may submit a regular (non-certified) copy.
• Graduates of other Czech universities must submit a certified copy.
• Graduates of Slovak universities must submit a certified copy of the diploma and diploma supplement.
• Graduates of foreign universities: as previously agreed
  

If you are unable to attend the regular enrolment date, please inform us via email.

If you have not yet completed your Master’s degree, you may enrol on the alternative date or later. The proof of graduation must be submitted no later than 22 October 2025.

Enrolment by proxy is only possible on the basis of a certified power of attorney (downloadable on the Faculty's website: https://www.lf1.cuni.cz/formulare-pro-uchazece).

· Procedure for generating the registration form: Log in to your application, select the My Applications section, click on the Application Process button, scroll down to the "Registration for a specific date" section. Here you can generate the registration form. If the link to generate the registration form does not appear immediately, it is because SIS requires you to fill in some missing information. Once you have filled in and saved the information, the option to generate the registration form will appear.
