“Hi, my name is Gagan and I am a 5th year medical student from the UK. Applying to study medicine at Charles University has honestly been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am grateful for the opportunity to study what I love at this prestigious and renowned University, and that too - in the beautiful city of Prague. This has been one exciting adventure and I haven't looked back since!“

Studying medicine, was six intense and challenging years which gave me the knowledge and clinical practice required to work as a doctor in any part of the world, due to the high standards that are kept at the medical faculty. Since LF1 is one of the biggest university hospitals in the Czech Republic, there are chances of being involved in various aspects of medicine except clinical practice, including research. Besides the fact that I studied in one of the most prestigious universities in the world, I got to experience Prague which is a beautiful city, and was also given the opportunity to explore nearby countries. After graduating, I worked as a doctor in Cyprus for one and a half years while also learning Swedish. Now, I am one step closer to my dream of becoming an endocrinologist as I am about to start my specialty training in Stockholm.“
